The immigration process is complex. JFS of Middlesex County provides citizenship classes, immigration application assistance, refugee employment services, assistance with consular forms and legal representation. Our experienced, compassionate professional staff of the Immigrant and Refugee Services Department of Jewish Family Services of Middlesex County strives to provide expert immigration services to immigrants and refugees. Jewish Family Services is certified by the US Department of Justice to advocate on behalf of immigrants in matters before the US Citizenship and Immigration Service. Citizenship & Naturalization Services

Lawful permanent residents are provided with naturalization application assistance, representation at immigration interviews, ongoing case management, and advocacy and referral services.  Recognized by the Board of Immigration Appeals, JFS can represent clients before USCIS. We offer: 

  • Assistance with all immigrant applications, including citizenship, green card, family visa, and consular forms.
  • Representation at United States Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) interviews and appointments
  • Legal Advocacy and Access to Social Services
  • Civics focused English as a Second Language (ESL) Citizenship classes for lawful permanent residents

Immigration and Refugee Services

Refugees and asylees (persons granted political asylum) are provided with case management services which aim to integrate these individuals into American society.  Services include:

  • Employment assistance
  • Access to social service benefits
  • Referral to ESL Programs
