Jewish Family Services of Middlesex County (JFS) is a nonprofit social services agency serving people from all backgrounds. With an array of innovative programs, JFS seeks to empower individuals and families to realize a more fulfilling life experience at home, in the workplace, and in the community.
In 1969, a small organization was formed in Northern Middlesex County, mainly to address the issues of the local Jewish community. One hundred people were served by the agency its first year. Over the last 50 years, JFS of Middlesex County has grown to provide valuable programs to people from all religions, races, and backgrounds through the entire county.
Rooted in Jewish values, JFS staff and volunteers represent various religions and ethnicities. We speak Spanish, Russian, Polish, Hebrew, Yiddish and more. JFS clients come from countries all over the world. With many backgrounds, we are one community standing together.
