Thank you to all who joined us for our 2024 Volunteer Appreciation and Annual Meeting Luncheon, celebrating those who have gone above and beyond to serve our community. With 234 active volunteers across 14 service areas contributing a total of 9,016 hours this past year, JFS is deeply grateful for their commitment. We couldn’t do this vital work without the support of our volunteers, 25% of whom have served for over 10 years. See their impact: 2023 JFS Annual Report.

Executive Committee Update

While we’re sad to see Bernie Sokal step down as VP of Board Development, we are thrilled to announce he’s stepping up as our new Board President, succeeding Sol Heckelman.

We thank Sol for his invaluable leadership and dedicated service over the past two years.

Board of Trustees Updates

During the meeting, our Board of Trustees welcomed two new members, Tara Scartocci and Kat Verdi, who pledge their commitment to providing strong leadership. Inducted by Bernie Sokal.
